Eater Lands 2026 Daytime Emmy Nomination

A week after being nominated for its 18th New York Emmy, Eater has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy. The 2026 nominations, announced on Tuesday, recognize both broadcast and digital shows; Eater was nominated for Outstanding Daytime Short Form Program for its Most-Ordered, a new series that debuted this year.

Most-Ordered spotlights the dishes found on just about every table at a specific restaurant; the pilot episode focused on Lori Jayne, which operates within the bar Danger Danger in Brooklyn and is helmed by chef Sam Braverman. The episode goes all in on Braverman’s steak frites, touching on every stage of the process: butchery, fry preparation, steak butter, sauce (a unique rendition of au poivre), and final assembly.

The popularity of the dish was mirrored by the popularity of the episode, which surpassed 1 million views within three days and inspired viewers to recreate the dish at home (and diners to place so many orders of steak frites at Lori Jayne that they sold out).

This is Eater’s sixth Daytime Emmy nomination, including several in the Short Form Program category. The 53rd annual ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on Friday, October 30.
