Denmark and Austria help solve widespread Salmonella outbreak

Scientists have detailed the country-level investigations into a Salmonella outbreak traced to meat produced in Poland.

In July 2023, Denmark and Austria reported two outbreaks of Salmonella Enteritidis. A total of 207 patients across 11 countries were found. The United Kingdom had the most patients with 80 while France had 49.
