New Food and Beverage Product Launches, October 7 – 11

From a spray oil designed for air fryer cooking to a pecan-based snack mix based on the concept of “somewhereness,” here’s a look at some of the new flavors and product innovations released this week.

Primal Kitchen: Air Fryer Spray Oil

Primal Kitchen is launching a new Air Fryer Spray Oil, a seasoned spray especially designed for air fryer cooking.

Format: An easy, one-step spray formula for less mess. Contains no chemical propellants or silicone.
Ingredients: A blend of avocado oil and neutral-tasting coconut MCT oil that’s seasoned with garlic, black pepper, and onion extracts.
Availability: Now available on the Primal Kitchen website for $8.99. Will arrive at Whole Foods later this fall.

Graeter’s Ice Cream: Limited-Edition Holiday Flavors

Graeter’s Ice Cream announced its limited-edition holiday flavors, handmade in ultra-small batches.

Flavors: Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Peppermint Stick, and Eggnog.
Availability: Can be purchased in Graeter’s scoop shops and online at Graeters.com. Pumpkin and Peppermint Stick will also be available in select grocery retailers throughout the Midwest. Pumpkin and Cinnamon are available now, while Peppermint Stick and Eggnog will be available on November 1.
“Festive Flavors” pint pack: Graeter’s is also releasing a new “Festive Flavors” ice cream pint pack, which will include all four limited-edition holiday pints, plus its Original Salted Caramel and Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip varieties. Available for purchase online starting November 1.

Annie’s x Fruit Friends: Fruit Pouches

Fruit Friends announced a strategic co-brand partnership with Annie’s to launch Annie’s Fruit Friends.

Ingredients and certifications: Organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free. They contain zero added sugar and about 50 calories per pouch.
Flavors: Apple, Apple-Strawberry, Apple-Spinach, Apple-Banana, and Apple-Carrot.
Availability: Now available in 10-packs of 3.2-ounce pouches nationwide at Whole Foods, Kroger, and regional retailers.

Pringles: Dill Pickle and Hot Ones Flavors

Pringles is giving its fans what they’re craving by bringing back its second most asked-for flavor, Dill Pickle. In addition, the brand is bringing back its Pringles® x Hot Ones lineup, including Los Calientes Barbacoa, Los Calientes Rojo, and Los Calientes Verde varieties.

Availability: Available at retailers nationwide starting this month.

Bolthouse Fresh Foods: New Products and Sustainable Packaging

Bolthouse Fresh Foods is introducing three fresh carrot products and new Bolthouse Fresh packaging:

Fresh Carrot Shakers: Combine seasoning and fresh baby carrots. Available in retail and foodservice channels in Dill Pickle, Chili Lime, and Ranch varieties.
Carrot Side Dish Sizzlers: Premium, artisan-sliced carrots with sauce for quick stovetop, air fryer, or oven roasting. Available in Garlic Herb, Sweet Honey Heat, and Herb Vinaigrette varieties.
Fresh Soup n’ Stewin’ Carrots: Pre-cut and ready to add directly to dishes to simplify meal prep.
Packaging: Bolthouse Fresh Foods plans to rollout sustainable packaging across the organic carrot portfolio over the next two years.

Wanderlands: Pecan-Based Snack Mix

Wanderlands is bringing a new pecan-based snack mix to the scene, the result of over two years of research and recipe development.

Ingredients and certifications: Each of the proprietary recipes, born from the concept of “somewhereness,” starts with non-GMO Project Verified, 100% vertically integrated pecans. A dynamically-textured mix of seeds, vegetables, and legumes is added to this base, then seasoned with spice blends of up to nine aromatic ingredients.
Varieties: Three varieties based on New Mexico landscapes to infuse a specific time and place: Mineral Creek Wilds, Mesa After Rain, and Into Snowy Woods.
Availability: Available for $12.99 each or 3-packs for $38.97 on the brand’s website.
