This week’s roundup of new products includes a colorful cereal, frozen meals with zero added sugar, and refreshing canned beverages.
Red Stripe: Rum Cocktails
Red Stripe is branching out of beer and launching new canned rum cocktails in two flavors — Rum Punch and Rum Mojito.
The rum drinks have an ABV of 5.9% and are made with real Caribbean rum, mango and lime juice, and natural flavors.
The new drinks will roll out in Florida and select markets across the northeast, available in slim 12-oz. cans.
IZZE: Strawberry Sparkling Juice
Strawberry is the latest flavor to join IZZE’s line of sparkling juice drinks.
Like the brand’s other drinks, the new flavor is a blend of real fruit juice and sparkling water, containing no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.
Sparkling Strawberry is available at Target or on Amazon.com.
Primal Kitchen: New Sauces
Primal Kitchen is expanding its line of pantry samples with the addition of five new sauces — Organic Korean BBQ Sauce, Organic Honey Teriyaki, Mild & Sweet Buffalo, A Tad Sweet Organic Ketchup, and Whip Dressing & Spread.
The sauces contain all the flavor without soy, canola, or dairy. A bit of sweetness comes from the addition of ingredients like organic honey or organic fruit juices.
Suggested retail prices for the new products range from $6.49 (Korean BBQ Sauce) to $11.99 (Whip Dressing & Spread). They’re available for purchase at select retailers and online through the brand’s website or Amazon.
Kellogg’s: Rainbow Krispies
Kellogg’s latest Rice Krispies cereal, Rainbow Krispies, is a fruity, colorful take on the classic.
The new cereal has a new shape with six vibrant colors. Each serving is an excellent source of Vitamin D (20% of the daily value) and offers 8 grams of whole grains and 9 vitamins and minerals.
Rainbow Krispies cereal is available at nationwide retailers for the suggested retail price of $4.99 per 11.1-ounce box and $5.99 per 17.8-ounce box.
Lean Cuisine: New Balance Bowls
Lean Cuisine is launching four new Balance Bowls entrées — Tex-Mex Rice & Black Beans, Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry, Roasted Eggplant Parmesan Pasta, and Creamy Pasta Primavera — that meet the nutrition guidelines of the American Diabetes Association’s Better Choices for Life Program program.
The meals contain 400 calories or less and a serving of vegetables, with no added sugar.
Starting this month, the new varieties will be available at select retailers for the suggested price of $4.49 each.
